John Selak
Chairman & Board Member
John Selak has over 40 years of experience in the financial and advisory services industry.
From 2000 to 2016 he
was a partner in the Corporate Finance Practice of Ernst & Young, providing valuation services to a broad range of local and international clients.
John is also currently a non-executive director of IOOF Holdings and National Tiles and an Advisory Board Member of Turi Foods.
Michael Buxton
Founder & Board Member
Michael Buxton has over 40 years of experience in the property industry that commenced with property management and sales in his family’s business, JR Buxton Pty Ltd. In 1976, Michael co-founded Becton Corporation and as Joint Managing Director built the company into one of the most successful property investment and development companies in Melbourne.
At the end of 1994, Michael sold his interest in Becton Corporation and in 1995 founded MAB Corporation with his brother, Andrew.
Tiffany Bahen
Chief Financial Officer
Tiffany Bahen currently holds the position of Director of Finance of Buxton Family Office within MAB Corporation. She has been responsible for overseeing the Buxton Family Office for the past six years, which has included property development and private equity investment.
Tiffany has over 15 years of experience in accounting, financial management and analysis, corporate structuring and strategy, working in senior roles at firms including Deloitte and Pitcher Partners. She is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and holds a degree in Commerce from Monash University.
Rob Altson
Chief Operating Officer
Rob Altson brings over a
decade of experience across real estate advisory, valuations, acquisitions and property finance.
Through extensive experience at Westpac Bank and as a property valuer, Rob has had exposure to all real estate sectors nationally working with participants spanning from small private developers to global real estate funds.
Rob is responsible for overseeing all operational, origination, execution and investment management activities within Corsair.
Rob holds a Masters of Property from RMIT University.
Ben Buxton
Board Member
Ben Buxton is the founding Director of Grenade, a Melbourne based design and communications agency.
The firm specialises in high end property, branding, marketing and sales and has become recognised as a national leader in the art of strategic marketing.
The recipient of several national design awards, the firm has been involved in the successful marketing and sales of over $2.5 billion of property over the past 15 years. Ben has also successfully run businesses in hospitality, commerce development and real-estate services.
Danielle Fergus
Board Member
Danielle Fergus brings broad property experience to Corsair Capital, including running her own commercial property consultancy BPC PTY LTD and working as a consultant for Colliers Jardine International and Jones Lang Wootton.
For many years, Danielle was Commercial Property Manager of MAB where she oversaw the extensive mixed-use development of the NewQuay precinct at Docklands. Danielle holds a Diploma in Financial Markets.
Josh Buxton
Board Member
As Director of Bluestone Real Estate and Buxton Projects, Josh Buxton brings many years of experience in the property industry with involvement in some of Australia’s best known residential developments.
Josh has an intimate understanding of market trends which he draws on to deliver innovative concepts and ideas and superior products to suit market demands.
Steve Buxton
Board Member
Steve Buxton’s vast property experience includes more than twenty years working in agencies across all real estate sectors as well as directly developing over $1.5 billion in residential, commercial and retail property.
Steve has also successfully run businesses in owners corporation management, property management and embedded network provisions. He holds a Bachelor of Business (Accounting) and a Post Graduate in Property.
